That&#8217;s why Microsoft Edge gives you the option to turn off notifications altogether, or at least make them less distracting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Microsoft turns this option off by default, so if you want to use it, you have to enable it separately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can do this by going to Settings | Cookies &amp; site permissions | Notifications. If you want to turn off notifications completely, you need to turn off the Prompt before sending the option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alternatively, you can enable Silent Notifications requests, in which case websites will send you a notification but it will not appear automatically.
