On some Windows 10 systems where the user logs in with a Microsoft account, the new News and Interests feature is already integrated into the taskbar, showing the current weather in a compact form. Clicking on it will bring up a large-format display with news, weather information, and stock quotes.
To customize the information displayed here, click on the Manage Interests button in the expanded view. In the MSN webpage that now opens in your browser, select a topic in the left-hand column under Explore Interests, such as News. Then select the topics that are of particular interest, such as Politics or Economy.
