How do I turn off the automatic launch of the Microsoft Teams application?

Microsoft Teams teamwork software is set by default to start automatically after Windows startup. However, if you don’t use this application regularly, or at least want a weekend break from it, you can prevent it from starting automatically. Right-click on the top three dots next to the User account icon and select Settings.

Click on General in the left-hand column, scroll down to the Application area and uncheck the topmost option called Automatically launch the application.

Microsoft Teams can of course be prevented from starting automatically from Task Manager and Setup Editor, but those procedures are a bit more time-consuming.
