Although the repository is mounted on the desktop, it is not available in Windows File Explorer. We don’t know why, but we know how to solve the problem: the registry provides the solution.
Start by typing Setup Editor in the search box, then click on the answer and answer yes to the question about controlling user accounts. Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace key, right-click in the right pane and select New/Key.
Right-click on the newly created entry, select Rename and type: {645FF040-5081- 101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}.
The modification takes effect immediately: if you open Windows File Explorer and click on the This machine entry in the left-hand column, you will see that the repository appears under Devices and Drives.
