Even among those who have been using Windows 10 for years, there are those who don’t know that Windows File Explorer has a toolbar for quick access. By default, this toolbar, opened by the small file icon in the top left, is empty. A click on this icon opens a drop-down menu with six commands to choose from, including Delete, Properties, and New Folder.
If you want one of the commands to appear on the shortcut toolbar, click on it in the menu. For example, if you want to go directly from the File Manager to the Machine/Applications and Services window, click on the This machine entry and bring up the Computer tab. Right-click on the Remove or Modify Program menu icon and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
