How can I search the internet with a screenshot?

Since version 1903, Windows 10 has been able to search the web for similar images – without the need to open the installed browser.

Open the search window in the taskbar by clicking the magnifying glass icon next to the Start button. In the bottom right corner, you will find a small icon to start a screenshot-based search. Since a click on the icon will immediately launch the Image Crop function, the image you want to use for the search must already be open in a pre-existing application, such as a PDF reader, photo, or other application.

Draw a frame around the subject you want to search for and release the mouse button to start the search. You will then get the results in your Microsoft browser, regardless of whether it is your default browser.
