How do I change the direction when using the touchpad in Windows 10?

If the scroll wheel of the mouse is turned upwards, the screen content moves in the same direction. Conversely, if you swipe up with two fingers on a touchpad, the display moves down. Notebook users who find this illogical and therefore confusing can easily change this.

Switch to the main menu with Windows+I, click on the Tools category, and select the Touchpad entry in the left-hand column.

In the Scroll and zoom area, under the Scroll direction, scroll up is set to scroll down by default. Click on the setting to open the drop-down list and select Scroll down to scroll down.
