How to speed up the task manager when shutting down?

If Windows always gives a Waiting for Task Manager… screen message when it shuts down, it means that the operating system is waiting for Windows tasks that are still running to complete properly.

To release this brake on shutdown, open the classic Control Panel, for example, by typing your name in the search box until it appears as a hit. Go to the System and Security / Administrative Tools page, double-click on the Computer Management entry, and in the directory tree on the left, go down to Task Scheduler / Task Scheduler Library /Microsoft/Windows/TextServicesFramework. Clicking on this will display the MsCtfMonitor task in the right pane.

After right-clicking on this entry, select the Disable command. Then restart the computer. In the future, the shutdown should go much faster.
