Microsoft’s cloud storage, OneDrive, is so closely tied to Windows 10 that the Photos app also shows pictures stored on OneDrive. For those who don’t want this, you can prevent it by clicking on the three dots icon in the top right of the Photos app and selecting Settings. In the Microsoft OneDrive area, set the switch under Show content stored on OneDrive (only in the cloud) to Off.
