How can multiple users use one subscription under Microsoft 365?

For private users, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is available in two versions: the Microsoft 365 Single-user version is for one user, while the Microsoft 365 Family version is for up to six people in a household. However, co-users must be invited to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.

Go to office.com/myaccount and sign in with the Microsoft account you used when you installed Microsoft 365/Office 365. On the Microsoft 365 Family Version page that appears, click on Start Sharing under Share. In the window that pops up, select whether you want to invite the person by email or by link.

If you choose to email, enter their email address and click the Invite button to send the invitation. If you click on the Invite by link option, you will receive a link that you can copy and send to the person you are invited by e-mail or any other means.

The difference between the two is that if you choose e-mail, the recipient’s e-mail address automatically becomes your Microsoft account. If you invite the other person by link, you can decide which Microsoft account you want to use.
