Windows 10 version 17083 also introduced an important change: the scrollbar will automatically disappear after a few seconds of inactivity for apps purchased from the Microsoft Store.
Fortunately, if you don’t like this behavior, there is an option to restore the original behavior, i.e., continuous Display. Open Settings, then select the Ease of use option, and within that, Display. Scroll down until you reach the option Automatically hide scrollbar in Windows, then turn this option off. It is important to note that toggling this option is not effective for all software, as it depends on how the software was designed.
