Speech recognition would be a helpful feature, but unfortunately, it is not optimized for many languages. Besides, it is often unnecessary on a desktop computer if there is no microphone connected. And if you don’t use it, there’s no point in having it running in the background, taking up resources unnecessarily. If speech recognition is not disabled when the machine is installed or when a significant update is installed later, there is, of course, no problem, as it can be disabled later.
Open Settings and select Privacy | Speech Recognition. The only thing to do is set the switch under the description of Online Speech Recognition to Off. If we change our minds later, we need to switch back to On in the same place.
